In the picture "Let it Shine" there is one of my closest friends, Colin Davis. He is always energetic and looks to help others when needed. Colin has always been there for me, even when he has to go out of his way to help. He is also one of the funniest people I know and can be a clown sometimes, but he also has a serious side. In "Let it Shine" you can see him in his serious state. He was very focused and he was laughing which really shows the depth of his personality. I snapped this photo outside of his house right after we played football. It was a cloudy day with the sun sometimes peeking out to give us that natural lighting. At this point the sun was out and behind me, shining down on Colin's face which I thought would be the perfect picture. Sometimes it can be very hard to arrange a good picture, like getting the best angle or making sure the lighting is perfect. On "Let it Shine" I feel like I did a very good job with angling Colin's body position and really focusing on his eyes. With the sun's natural light, it made a glow against Colin's face which adds a really cool effect, which I am proud off. Also it can be hard finding the perfect subject for a certain picture and I feel like Colin is the best person I could have chosen to be in that picture. Overall, I am very proud of all my pictures and editing them added a very unique touch to all of them.
